Closed loop hook: These hooks are designed to form a closed loop for tying rope or securing chains, cuffs or carabiners without risk of the rope slipping off. Tempered high carbon steel is very strong and rigid, but this hook should be used only when the pulling force is not directed sideways to the hook, nor up and away from the surface the hook is mounted on.

Open loop hook: These hooks are designed to form an open loop for easily slipping a chain, loop of rope, or leash over. Excellent for quick-release but with a swept-back design that prevents accidental slipping. Tempered high carbon steel is very strong and rigid, this hook will not spread open.

Angled loop: This is a closed loop secured on either end by bolt or screw. Excellent for doorframes, table legs, and beds - it has a low profile and great strength.

Reverse Loop: This is a closed loop designed to be mounted on bedframes or other structures from behind, such that it overhangs and tranfers strain to the structure, not just the screws that hold it in. Excellent for waterbed frames and furniture.

Round Loop: This is a closed loop providing a round loop similar to standard eye bolts, but mounting flat on walls, floors, or furniture. This is an extremely strong attatchment point, secured by 4 construction screws or two heavy bolts. Excellent for floor and wall hardpoints as well as furniture.
